Most likely DMV will have you get your vin inspected by the CHP. That's all they inspect though so no worries if you're having electrical issues.

Best thing to do when going to the DMV is be prepared. Have all the paperwork/information possible with you.

Hi guys,

Not a lot of activity on here, but that's OK.

My name is John. I'm moving out to Davis from Lincoln, Nebraska. I am nearing the end of a 6 year restoration project on a 1978 P125X. I had a few questions about licensing in California. Have any of you had to license a vehicle that did not have a title (I have the last known registration for the vehicle--it's from 1986)? In Nebraska the laws are pretty absurd, so I decided to wait until we moved.

I'm also having some problems working out the wiring (no tail lights or blinkers), but maybe that's another thread entirely.

I arrive on the 13th of August. I'm looking forward to meeting some of you.

Your P200 should be more than capable of the main ride and it is not one to miss.

But, if you have some time constraints the alternate ride will be more or less of a "city" ride showing you the seedy underbelly of sacramento and ending up at the Towe auto museum.

I recommend talking to Sunny at Barber's. If not, then another boutique. Reno is probably closest, then on to the ones in the bay area from there. Did you buy a service package from the dealer?

I have become a fan of period racer types of late......liek the Lambretta SX AF Rayspeed race bikes from the early 70's.....or the factory Vespa Racers from the mid 50's

I am also a big fan of any Chopper or cutdown that has a Psychobilly or King Kurt theme!

I was looking on the internet for a pic of a chopper & came across this on a Vietnamese website!
